i dont like chinese can

havent finalised the plans for the id tshirt design): i'll try to do it asap k(:

anyway i was feeling pretty disgruntled yesterday about the sad sad education system(: in retrospect of my learning journey, i've realised that i just wasted more than 12 years (which comes up to 2/3 my life) on learning a language i'd hardly be needing on a regular basis for the rest of my life. imma talkin bout CHINESE here yo. i think that if we are forced to learn chinese, we should have a choice of learning casual, conversational chinese that i use now when ordering food at hawker centres. all i need to do is point and say some number and i'll get it! like all i need to know to get by, is how to count in chinese, yo. so why waste time making me PAINSTAKINGLY MERMORISE idiotic idioms that i'd never use in conversation? and who the heck writes letters in chinese these days. oh yeah, and normal people wouldnt even use idioms in writing!
I BELIEVE that we should be given the freedom of choosing whichever language we'd like to learn. dont waste education, time and money on people like me who dont have a talent for the language! i might be extremely proficient in hindi (if i try, who knows?) but i was never given a chance to realise my potential): so sad right. and hellooooo? i think its time to put off the craze on chinese by the time i'm in JC ok. like, i'm 17/18 years of age and still writing stories about a boy called xiaoming (coz i cant do anything else) and i'm doing the sae things i did in secondary school. that is seriously a SAD SAD thing.
do you know, all the time wasted on extra chinese classes could have been used for something more worthwhile? i could totally pick up some new language in all that extra time. even learn some other useful skill, like indian dance(:
ahh so sad): i lament the fate of the future batches of students forced to learn chinese against their will.

ahaha anyway here's whats been going on in sean's blog (sean is josh's tuition teacher)
he follows a show called campus superstar and often gives constructive comments on the contestant's performances. since i was feeling pissed about chinese and stuff, i took it out on a pig who tagged(:
