well then on friday, i went out with graciee and joel! 'fraid joel doesnt look like a terrorist anymore. then i went around with grace. then after she went to the gym (like whoa, PRO 20-something kinda thing man) i went shopping! but i didnt buy anything coz it was so crowded, and i got really turned off by some shoppers):
then saturday, i visited gracie's gym!! (they allow one free visit!) we joined this mtv dance class thingy and WHOAA i tell you i felt young, and um, outdanced hahaha. the rest of the class were at least over 30! and mostly 40somethings. there were these 3 50something aunties in front of us, and boy were they the hottest dancers ever! one of them was SO GOOD! she could totally be in some mtv dance can. she was just SO HOT. i forgot the moves when i watched her ok): ya anyway both of us were struggling to get the moves down! and the aunties had such style, i was just blownnnn away. then after that we discovered the aunties already had 5 classes before us, so we've the excuse not to be able to dance as well as them. BUT STILL! hahahha i was just thinking about the newspaper article about aunties not being let into st james powerhouse. st james powerhouse is LOSING OUT man! these aunties are so hot, they'd burn the young, inexperienced dancers off the dance floor in an instant! they get bad dancers off the floor, the bad dancers learn from them and become better dancers, and these hot hot ladies would totally attract people who want to watch good dancing. they'd probably attract more customers if they let these ladies in, yo.
well then after the gym thing and all, we had lunch with ivan and adeline at spaggedies or whatever the spelling is. i had ham and mushroom and it sucked): but the rest had nice food, so. then i went shopping, and bought stuff!! spent 100 bucks at giordano (including buying socks for ivan) so i'm a member! hohoho(: giordano had good stuff man(: unlike zara, its not as messy and crowded and there arent really much good buys at zara. i'm happy man(:
oh yes, this is me and my purse(: i made it myself after drinking a carton of fruit tree fresh orange juice! in march during the school holidays and grandma's wake. its cool, no? made it for chriselle and lizzi too! and i'm supposed to make one for adeline now(: and actually quite a few people. so busy):

i confessed i was severely unprepared for the cts and gave a few wishy washy reasons, and she was like "yeah i noticed" lolllll so she told me to do my best in these last few days leading to the cts! i feel much much better!(:
so anyway i neglected chem (most conveniently forgot about it) so i shall be doing it today! bio was good! i dedicated a whole day to it (though not non stop studying) so i hope i'll pass. i only went through respiration and photosynthesis notes and mcq, and read through roughly the nervous control ones! not bad huh! ok i'm deluding myself. a day to bio isnt nearly enough)): but anyway econs is good cos i did 1 and a half essays from the homework mr lee gave us for the holidays! but jean thinks thats not enough so i'm screweddddd): math is the best so far, i think, considering the rest(: i've done quite a few qns from the holiday revision thing (the wrong answers do frustrate and discourage me so!) and i made rough vectors notes! rough meaning my handwriting on it is so bad, no one except me will be able to read it! gotta check if i can read it though. i wonder how to prepare for gp lol
anyway i've gotten addicted recently to this 7pm korean show called "be strong, jinshun!", aptly entitled so, because the protagonist, jinshun, goes through lots and lots of trials the average person in our age would have. the actress is really pretty, but thats besides the point. she's a really beautiful person inside as well! awwww! its a real good cinderella story and the supporting characters are awfully entertaining as well(: i like(:
and i'm really happy coz i've gotten all the bollywood songs i wanted!!!(: bwahahahaha
one day, i went to order some noodles from a taiwanese stall in a food court. while waiting, i chatted with the auntie(in chinese):

so anyway i told her, no, i was from singapore, and asked her why. she was like, ohhh! and gave the reason(i think its an excuse lol) that girls from malaysia are "ker ai" (the translation being "cute" i think) lol what cute): my chinese sucks laaaaaa. she's just too nice. oh well

we had a gathering yesterday mainly to pray about whats happened since grandma's passed away. in these 3 months, tua-ee and goh-ee have been diagnosed with cancer (goh-ee's one is at least stage 2 i've heard) tua-gu has discovered a sort of heart problem, i think its a torn valve or something (seems worse than my mum's heart prob) but they cant operate yet coz his other probs like diabetes, cholesterol and blood pressure's complicated it. ))):
anyway i was kinda saying that they've all retired so God wants to add some excitement to their lives:/ please pray for them.

anyway i was feeling pretty disgruntled yesterday about the sad sad education system(: in retrospect of my learning journey, i've realised that i just wasted more than 12 years (which comes up to 2/3 my life) on learning a language i'd hardly be needing on a regular basis for the rest of my life. imma talkin bout CHINESE here yo. i think that if we are forced to learn chinese, we should have a choice of learning casual, conversational chinese that i use now when ordering food at hawker centres. all i need to do is point and say some number and i'll get it! like all i need to know to get by, is how to count in chinese, yo. so why waste time making me PAINSTAKINGLY MERMORISE idiotic idioms that i'd never use in conversation? and who the heck writes letters in chinese these days. oh yeah, and normal people wouldnt even use idioms in writing!
I BELIEVE that we should be given the freedom of choosing whichever language we'd like to learn. dont waste education, time and money on people like me who dont have a talent for the language! i might be extremely proficient in hindi (if i try, who knows?) but i was never given a chance to realise my potential): so sad right. and hellooooo? i think its time to put off the craze on chinese by the time i'm in JC ok. like, i'm 17/18 years of age and still writing stories about a boy called xiaoming (coz i cant do anything else) and i'm doing the sae things i did in secondary school. that is seriously a SAD SAD thing.
do you know, all the time wasted on extra chinese classes could have been used for something more worthwhile? i could totally pick up some new language in all that extra time. even learn some other useful skill, like indian dance(:
ahh so sad): i lament the fate of the future batches of students forced to learn chinese against their will.
