i almost froze my fingers off today!
yes i did! the gastro admin office in nuh is so darn cold! i didnt realise how badly affected my fingers were until someone messaged me and i tried to reply and i had so much trouble making my fingers do what i wanted to do: reply to the sms. my fingers never felt so retarded in my life! it was so slow, and i kept pressing the wrong keys, and i was like, ARGH!! next time, i'm bringing woolen gloves or something hahah.
anyway, i've just found out that my comp is not dead! its just the screen that died. yayyyyy.
i've had a very busy weekend. mum's bday (celebrated twice!), comp dying, cooking, painting adeline's shoes, and the corpcomm eye brochure! aaaaaaand i'm going to have a busy week ahead; everyday at nuh, and i have to squeeze time in to paint and train for the retarded stanchart thing so i can get the shirt (: oooh adidassss

my laptop just died. and its just 4 years old. i thought it was some virus but noooo. it just died, like crashed, like, completely kapoot! i will miss it very much. at least it died while i'm still in sg so i can just get a new one!

tiff stella and i went to attica last night with tiff's sis and cousin to celebrate tiff's birthday! sort of! they had this november babies special where november babies get a free bottle of champagne, and free entry for people in their party who are dressed to the theme "ties or scarves". tiff's a genius :D
november babies and their party get to go up to the members area to get their champagne, and boy, that area is pretty cool and classy looking! however the music up there is weird. it isnt very nice to dance to coz its pretty trance like, and techno like, with no words and weird sounds. the normal ground floor public area has better music.
it was really really crowded! even more crowded than post prom! and with more annoying people! there was some random guy who grabbed my waist, presumably to push me away so he could get more space. then there was this other retarded guy who kept pushing me away from MY SPOT with his butt. thanks ah. and i felt so short. all the butts that bumped me (lack of space dammit!) hit me in the middle of my back.
BUT! the company was greatttt (: and the music was nice at some points. tiff's sister is kewl (: and so is her cousin. sighhhh. i need to be 6 years older or something.

(: she ordered a pina colada, but finished the iced tea thing first (funny that they call it iced tea when there isnt any tea in it at all!) and yoosing took the pina colada away from her because she believed anna was having too much to drink! the pina colada wasnt nice anyway ):

oh yes i watched avenue q today with desiree and her friend chai peng!! it was pretty darn funny even though the acoustics werent that good (because we were sitting in the first row) and i didnt manage to catch everything. i am liking the "bad idea bears" very much. they are SO happy tree friends hurhur. they should have brought them out more often!
we went for supper at cafe cartel coz i didnt have dinner before that, and i had that stupid iceblended that is currently depriving me of my sleep. i caught myself dancing at the bus stop after that. good thing there wasnt anyone around. am trying to expend all that extra energy now, though i wont say how. i have to sleep soon!! i'm supposed to go swimming with josh tmrw!

i went out with desiree, joel, and the cute couple charissa and clement yesterday! we went to some restaurant called house in dempsey for dinner, and it was joel's treat coz he changed the venue last min. heh :D the food was alright, but not worth the amount paid, ya? joel's veal cheeks were tough as beef jerky can. and anyone can overload pasta with pepper. my fish was good though. the ambience is nice, but i dont quite like it if i have to strain to read the menu. i tell you, the only place worth going to in that area is SAMY'S CURRY!! it is awesome, and affordable! it isnt a dinner place though. i dont think i'll be able to sleep well if i have dinner there heheh.
we had some yummy wine with our food. I IS HANGING OUT WITH THE 20-SOMETHINGS, YO. WE HAVE WINE, YO. i think it was sparkling wine.
oh yes, then after that we went to jazz @ southbridge, a jazz bar/pub/club/whatever it is. i cant tell the difference actually. i think sitting still and listening to a band play is not really my thing, but the company i had more than made up for it. the couple is awesome. they are so cute. and clement kept giving me drinks and all so i was pretty entertained.

long island iced tea - all the stuff mixed together. vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec with lemon, coke, and loads of sugar to suit my taste (clement mixed it for me! he's a regular so they let him do lots of stuff) tastes good, not great, but i'd get bored after so much. the glass was huge! i never drank anything in such a big glass before hahah. maybe thats why its called LONG island iced tea. i drank half of it. cant fit so much liquid in my tummy when i'm just sitting there and not doing anything you know? OH, and there isnt any tea in it. lol.
lychee martini - or margarita, i always mix up the 2 coz they both start with M. dunno whats in it but it tastes great. the bestest drink of the night :D and there's a lychee inside! desiree thought it was a cherry and proceeded to offer me hers, and i didnt get what they were laughing about till joel told me ): i feel retardedd.

aaand thats all. not much, but sitting there, with a heavy stomach, doing nothing and listening to the (rather soothing) jazz made me slighty sleepy, partly because it was bedtime! but then after going home, i was WIDE, WIDE awake. the sugar. oh no. the SUGAR. i wasnt used to the amount of sugar i took in, coz i dont usually have so many sweet drinks. so i felt really really energetic, which sucked, because it was night time, and i cant go running at night. so i tried to expend all the sugar by walking around really fast, and running up the stairs, but nooooooo. i was still feeling hyper. is that me getting tipsy? it just felt like a sugar rush, without the tendency to be stupid. i felt a little too awake. i could remember what happened the day before, and i could tell desiree the difference between mitosis and meiosis. but i really felt like going running. heh. TOO MUCH SUGAR )):
