happy teachers day! :D
yesterday was teachers day! and i went back to nj! they had some item in the teachers day concert called the 'hot seat', where 3 teachers would be invited up on stage to choose a qn each to answer from a cup of questions! mr barnabas tan (heehee angeline tay) mr neo chee peng and a mr khoo (is he new?) were chosen :D so mr tan got the qn "whats your favourite drink and how does it reflect your personality?" so he went something like, "my favourite drink as MISS TAY would know, is green tea. (insert oohs and aahs for mentioning his biology teacher sweetheart) i'm like green tea coz i'm very constant." (insert some random oohs for that constancy haha) so the emcee asks "do you have anything else to say to ms tay?" (crowd roars with laughter, oohs, encouragement etcetcetc.) so he goes, "um, i think ms tay and the council have worked very hard for teachers day, you know some of them stayed overnight to finish up the stuff........yes they worked very hard, and thank you all for working so hard for teachers day" LOL. now we hear a lot of oeiiiiiiiis and noises expressing disapproval of his bush perimeter beating answer hahaha. i think the mr khoo got "who would you choose to spend your last day on earth with? parents are not counted" so he said his girlfriend's a ms tan, but there are a lot of ms tans in nj and outside too, and rambled on some more, and at the end, he declared his love for her by saying "she's the one i want to spend the rest of my life with" lol. then mr neo was ficin a personality test thing which was like, boring. but he's funny hahaha.i got to see only both the ms chuas, and give them presents of course! the bio-half-married-ms-chua got lovers vouchers which are like, shopping vouchers except they say "cuddling session" and "end of argument" and "chauffeur service" something like that hahaha. then the math-dont-wanna-get-married-but-has-a-bf-ms-chua got a rubber band gun! she loved it! and i love it too! its cool hahaha. i got it for her to shoot her students coz i remembered she threw her marker at a sleeping yuyan and its pretty heavy and difficult to retrieve. also, ammo is rather limited. rubber bands are the best!
yes i'm rambling because i'm unbelievably busy and have no time to write a proper entry. i've been busy with work (i'm teaching bio at pj now!) and research work for nuh, and applications for hostel stay etcetc
anyway, after nj's teachers day, i went for lunch with joseph and jonjon at SAMY'S CURRY :D i almost killed myself drinking there man. the food's so hot, i drank a litre of fluid, and didnt really eat that much lol. jonjon was too powerful la. he didnt even touch his drink for his first helping, and he took a second helping with all the hot stuff! crazy guy. jonjon's going to canada for some university exchange program! so exciting! then we'll visit him there end of the year heheh.
well after that, i went home and prepared for the night's (pj's) teachers day dinner! i wore a turquoise sari with pale green bangles and blue earrings and necklace, and some makeup. heehee i did it myself! for the first time! and it looked NICE. (it was just the eye makeup, but hey, the eyes are the only things that are usually decorated on a face right) will post pictures sometime... if i ever get down to it. i saw stella's sister's chem teacher! she got the most glamorous award i think hahaha. the theme of the party was glamfest heehee. lots of people dressed up for it! it was really really awsome :D i think some pe teachers went clubbing afterward. i had drinks with some other teachers after that! :D i must show off my legal-ness heheh. stella's sister's chem teacher recommended me a tequila sunrise. which tasted like orange juice. i slept at about 230am.
i realised why i dont go clubbing/pubbing often. i get sleepy. bedtime hahahah. they should shift the hours earlier la. i like sleeping. sleeping is good. goodnight!
